Agape House is a female recovery house that is Christ centered, located in Pottstown, PA.

OUR STORY

Agape House was founded in October of 2020 by Dan and Sue Miller. Dan and Sue both worked for many years in in-patient drug and alcohol treatment. When the reality of addiction hit us personally, we prayed about opening our own recovery house. Our daughter, Amber went through the struggle of addiction and when she came out of in-patient treatment, our goal was to find her a Christ centered recovery house. After our search was unsuccessful, Dan and Sue came together with their Pastor Randy and Amber and by the grace of God we found a house. Our goal is to help women in early recovery from drugs and alcohol and/or women that need a safe place to grow and recover from any unhealthy lifestyle.

ABOUT US

We coach women to walk out a faith relationship in recovery in all aspects of life. We provide a safe, structured home where women can develop skills through groups, Bible studies, meetings and personal relationships. Pastor Randy and his wife Donna provide small groups and Bible study each week; they also provide ongoing support as needed. Amber, Dan and Sue meet the needs of the women in the house with weekly meetings. We provide the necessities of living, such as food, personal hygiene, and house supplies, etc. Our home has spacious bedrooms, 2nd floor washer and dryer, all new kitchen appliances as well as a spacious porch and outside area.
Amber is the house manager; she manages daily cleanliness, weekly house GI, groceries, and assists with any other services the women need. All of our women are expected to remain drug free and agree to urine screens upon request.
